jkjk.... hello guys, hows that for a white background announcement ?

since the begining of august, i have stopped taking art commissions ; and i will stop for the foreseable future.
i plan on finishing the last batch i have taken by the end of august, and then i'll be off to focus on other projects.
this isnt a "ill never take commissions ever again" annoucement, but it is pretty likely that i wont be taking any anytime soon. only time will tell !

truth be told, i am tired and need a change of pace. ive been dealing with burnout and artblock on and off for like 8 years now, and it is starting to get too hard to manage. making art is becoming harder and harder, and so is keeping up with commissions or even making art and projects for myself. i also need more stability than my current situation can offer, which is definitely a factor in my decision.
my plan for now is to dedicate a few months to studying for an exam that could give me that stability, as well as the much needed change of pace.
it'll be hard, i can't be sure i'll succeed, and i need to focus on this 100% ; which is why i am closing shop in the meantime. to concentrate all my efforts and do my best!

i can't promise ill be able to keep up with social media and posting stuff, because i can't promise i'll be able to make any art at all !
i will probably take some time off the internet for a while though. with everything going on lately, i need to take all the chances i can get to not get too miserable lol. i hope that this forced break of sorts will reset something in me art wise that i feel like ive been losing my grasp on for a long time now, but i can't promise anything.
again, only time will tell.

i want to thank all the clients ive worked with over the years, and all the friends ive made through working on art comms along the way. it hasnt always been easy for me, but i still had a lot of fun and met a lot of amazing people, as well as worked on very cool things that ill be proud of forever!!

thank you all for your support and for enjoying my art. i am so grateful that other people got to see and like what i made over the years (´｡• ω •｡`) ♡
